The Olberding Brand Family is a 4th-generation, family-owned and operated business which commits to providing a complete range of brand design, optimization, and protection services since 1919. Known for their creativity, design artistry, and attention to detail, it was important for them to have a beautiful space which reflected the qualities their legacy is built upon.

The Olberding Brand Family prides itself on being family-owned and relationship-focused, so strong relationships were a key consideration when choosing a furniture partner. As they looked to renovate their Columbus offices, they chose WSA Studio as their preferred architectural partner and design visionary. WSA introduced Office Revolution to the client, and all parties quickly developed a great collaborative relationship.

Office Revolution, WSA and Premier Commercial Construction have collaborated seamlessly on projects in the past. Having a familiar and dedicated project team—along with an extremely engaged and ambitious client—resulted in a positive experience for everyone involved. We prioritized communication and made sure to incorporate the valuable insight we gained from the end users of the space. A true partnership with the client, we listened and refined solutions with their team until we arrived at a complete layout fine-tuned to their specific vision and everyday needs; fulfilling requests such as L-Shaped private offices with sit-stand capability, adjusting workstations to accommodate corner monitors, and incorporating texture through details such as buttoning on the booths, wood plank planters, and variation in finishes and textiles.

The space has many unique features which reflect the Olberding Brand Family’s branding, including a wall divider which resembles their signature interlocking circle motif. The office also features ample collaboration space, including custom wooden tables from North Street Supply, a local business which shares the Olberding Brand Family’s emphasis on family ownership. Spacious Teknion Expansion tables accommodate up to eight people and are customized with accent colors; in the open office a rich burnt orange paint on the table leg stands out against the clean white laminate top. Shared lounge areas feature SitOnIt Gobi Lounge Chairs and OFS Maive occasional tables. The furniture selected reflects the Olberding Brand Family’s distinctive blue-grey and copper palette, and perfectly complements the accent wall featuring their logo. Together, these elements contribute to a truly personalized space.
