The Vice President of Human Resources serves as a strategic leader and trusted partner to senior leadership, guiding the organization’s people strategy to support business growth and a strong workplace culture. This role oversees all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, and organizational development. The Vice President of Human Resources plays an integral role in shaping policies, advising leaders, managing risk, and strengthening processes while ensuring a positive, compliant, and high-performing employee experience across the organization.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement HR initiatives that align with company goals.
Leadership and Management:
- Lead and mentor the HR Team.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
- Communication and interpretation of company policies and procedures, providing authoritative guidance to company leaders and managers.
Talent Acquisition & Retention
- Lead and direct end-to-end recruitment strategies to attract top talent, including but not limited to candidate sourcing, job posting, screening, onboarding, offboarding, and talent agencies relationships.
- Develop and ensure execution of best practices for hiring and talent
- Develop and administer employee benefit programs, acting as the primary point of contact for all benefit-related inquiries and education.

Performance & Compensation
- Advise and support department leaders in conducting reviews, disciplinary actions, disputes, and investigations.

Compliance & Risk
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws and regulations including but not limited to employment laws.
- Maintain and safeguard all employee records related to human resources and benefits, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Lead administration of all commercial insurance policies, 401(k), health plan audits (5500), ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Review and modify policies and procedures to enhance and maintain compliance; recommend best practices relevant to company goals.
- Ensure data security and confidentiality.
- Serve as the liaison with external IT vendor, managing service delivery and contract performance.
Culture & Employee Relations
- Ensures a safe and non-offensive, hostile-free work environment.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Professional HR credentials preferred (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR)
- 10+ years of HR experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership.
- Demonstrated expertise in HR programs, including payroll compensation, performance management, employee relations, and leadership development.

The A&D Business Development Representative is responsible for marketing, promoting, and educating the architecture and design community on the company’s products and services to drive sales growth. This role focuses on generating furniture and architectural wall sales by developing opportunities through assigned architecture and design firms.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Key responsibilities include identifying and tracking projects, gathering intelligence on project teams, securing RFPs for all applicable opportunities, and establishing the company as a trusted, go-to resource within each assigned design firm.
- The representative builds and maintains strong relationships through client meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and designer engagement activities aimed at earning business.
- This position works collaboratively within a broader sales team, partnering with other sales professionals, the Teknion A&D representative, and industry partners as needed.
- Over time, the A&D Business Development Representative is expected to develop deep product expertise and position themselves as a knowledgeable resource for designers throughout the specification process.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design a plus.
- Preferred furniture manufacturer, dealer and/or A&D sales experience with a minimum of 5+ years of industry experience.
- An established base of A&D relationships.
- Strong presentation skills, comfortable with public speaking to a variety of group sizes.
- Must be a highly motivated, personable, self-starter who can manage calling on multiple A&D firms.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate internally and externally.
- Plan, schedule, and attend 8–10 networking and social events monthly, including events before, during, and after business hours.

This role encompasses space planning, programming, material selection, documentation, and field verifications to ensure project success. The Senior Designer plays an integral role in guiding project execution, enhancing processes, and fostering team development while delivering high-quality design outcomes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Project Planning:
- Lead or participate in project meetings to establish scope, deliverables, timelines, and roles.
- Develop and present design concepts that align with client needs, contracts, and project goals.
- Provide expert guidance on design best practices, industry standards, and project priorities.
Design Execution:
- Manage and execute complex, high-profile projects with efficiency and attention to detail.

- Strong understanding of workplace strategy, ergonomics, technology integration, and facility planning.
- Knowledge of building codes, ADA regulations, electrical codes, and construction methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-volume projects with creativity and precision.
Technical Skills:
- CET, CAP Studio or Project Matrix, and AutoCAD.
- Strong graphic layout skills and ability to produce high-quality visual presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
