Our latest inspiration board didn’t just spark creativity—it laid the foundation for the design of our refreshed Chicago office. In-house designers @Abby Boeheim and @Alyssa Ludwig led the project, drawing inspiration from the WELL Building Standard, emphasizing calming color palettes, natural elements such as live plants, and dynamic lighting to enhance cognitive and emotional well-being.
Our content strategist, Alex Lang, sat down with Abby and Alyssa to dive into the creative process behind their design choices. “Nature-inspired colors encourage focus and creativity. We chose calming greens from plants and blues inspired by the waters of Lake Michigan, visible from our window,” Abby explained. Alyssa added, “Simple upgrades such as new textiles, fresh paint, and greenery can truly transform a space, creating a more calm and inviting environment.”
