Senior Designer – Office Revolution (Chicago, Columbus, Cleveland)

The Senior Designer serves as a key industry expert, working closely with Business Development, clients, and internal teams to develop creative, functional, and innovative design solutions. This role encompasses space planning, programming, material selection, documentation, and field verifications to ensure project success. The Senior Designer plays an integral role in guiding project execution, enhancing processes, and fostering team development while delivering high-quality design outcomes.

 

Project Planning:

  • Lead or participate in project meetings to establish scope, deliverables, timelines, and roles.
  • Develop and present design concepts that align with client needs, contracts, and project goals.
  • Provide expert guidance on design best practices, industry standards, and project priorities.

 

Design Execution:

  • Manage and execute complex, high-profile projects with efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Gather programming requirements and translate them into schematic designs that meet client objectives.
  • Prepare cost estimates and resource plans to support approved design solutions.
  • Maintain schedules, documentation, and design recommendations in line with project specifications.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and accountability in core design processes.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior architecture from a CIDA-accredited program.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract design, furniture dealership, or construction.
  • Expertise in specifying and planning systems furniture and ancillary pieces.
  • Strong understanding of workplace strategy, ergonomics, technology integration, and facility planning.
  • Knowledge of building codes, ADA regulations, electrical codes, and construction methodologies.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-volume projects with creativity and precision.

 

Technical Skills:

  • CET, CAP Studio or Project Matrix, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong graphic layout skills and ability to produce high-quality visual presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Senior Project Coordinator – Office Revolution (Columbus)

The Senior Project Coordinator (SPC) plays a vital role in supporting the Design, Sales, and Project Management teams, ensuring seamless execution of projects from start to finish. This role involves collaborating with both internal and external team members to manage project timelines, track progress, and guarantee the successful delivery of high-quality products and services. The SPC is responsible for ensuring that client expectations are met through effective communication, problem-solving, and close coordination of vendor relations.


Proposal & Order Management:

  • Compose formal proposals based on project pricing and specifications provided by the Project Manager.
  • Convert sales orders into the business system upon client sign-off.
  • Write and submit purchase orders to vendors to meet project timelines.
  • Track progress of orders and resolve any discrepancies with vendor acknowledgments.
  • Initiate and confirm check requests for deposits as required.

 

Vendor Relations & Logistics:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, ensuring timely order processing and delivery.
  • Track product shipments, coordinate receiving schedules, and address any issues, including damaged products or freight claims.
  • Ensure product specifications, pricing, and lead times are verified with vendors.



Project Coordination & Communication:

  • Maintain transparent and proactive communication with internal teams (Sales, Project Management, Design) regarding project timelines, milestones, and expectations.
  • Coordinate production schedules and ensure they align with client expectations and installation dates.
  • Manage day-to-day client communications, including taking calls, ordering products, and coordinating delivery and installation.
  • Research pricing options, request fabric samples, and secure product details as needed for projects.
  • Support the preparation of bids, project books, and other documentation to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Compile and maintain project status reports to track deliverables and deadlines.

 

Data & Reporting:

  • Maintain and organize project status reports, ensuring accurate tracking of deliverables and deadlines.
  • Assist with CAP specifications, image books, and other documentation to support the project lifecycle.
  • Approve invoices for payment and manage order billing.



Installation & Punchlist Management:

  • Schedule installations in collaboration with the Project Manager and confirm all necessary installation documentation (installation packets, drawings, etc.) is complete.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to finalize installation documents and ensure all punchlist items are addressed promptly.
  • Manage post-installation issues, including warranty claims and repairs.
  • Handle any warranty and punchlist claims to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the re-ordering or repair of damaged products as indicated in receiving reports, including managing freight claims.

You will manage all technical and operational aspects of large-scale projects, including furniture and architectural installations, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction. This position requires expertise in construction, contract furniture, and architectural products, along with leadership, problem-solving, and advanced project management skills. Business Expertise & Strategic Leadership:

Director of Healthcare – Office Revolution (Chicago)

The Director of Healthcare Sales will drive the growth of our Healthcare vertical by identifying, engaging, and building relationships with key stakeholders in prospective client companies. As an ambassador for Office Revolution’s Healthcare division, this individual will focus on lead generation, business development, and sales growth while promoting high-quality furniture solutions that improve patient and provider environments. This role involves collaborating across internal verticals to cross-sell products and ensure holistic client solutions.


Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities in the healthcare sector, building a strong pipeline of leads.
  • Conduct outreach to prospective clients, uncovering needs and generating new sales opportunities.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives.

 

Client Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, designers, architects, general contractors, and developers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored, cost-effective solutions for clients.
  • Lead showroom tours and deliver impactful presentations using sales tools such as case studies and project highlights.
