Senior Designer – Office Revolution (Chicago, Columbus, Cleveland)
The Senior Designer serves as a key industry expert, working closely with Business Development, clients, and internal teams to develop creative, functional, and innovative design solutions. This role encompasses space planning, programming, material selection, documentation, and field verifications to ensure project success. The Senior Designer plays an integral role in guiding project execution, enhancing processes, and fostering team development while delivering high-quality design outcomes.
Project Planning:
- Lead or participate in project meetings to establish scope, deliverables, timelines, and roles.
- Develop and present design concepts that align with client needs, contracts, and project goals.
- Provide expert guidance on design best practices, industry standards, and project priorities.
Design Execution:
- Manage and execute complex, high-profile projects with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Gather programming requirements and translate them into schematic designs that meet client objectives.
- Prepare cost estimates and resource plans to support approved design solutions.
- Maintain schedules, documentation, and design recommendations in line with project specifications.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and accountability in core design processes.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement to enhance team and project efficiency.
- Develop finish palettes for client review as required.
Collaboration & Consultation:
- Engage clients to define and refine design intent.
- Produce drawings, renderings, and design deliverables that effectively communicate project vision.
- Offer strategic guidance on design applications, including space utilization, ergonomics, technology integration, and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with consultants, project teams, and installers to coordinate field reviews, manage changes, and oversee installations.
- Maintain and organize project documentation, including revisions, approvals, and key decisions.
- Apply industry insights and planning methodologies to optimize design outcomes.
Client Engagement & Service:
- Act as a trusted industry advisor, addressing client inquiries and design challenges.
- Maintain professionalism and a positive presence in all client and vendor interactions.
- Foster clear and transparent communication across project teams to elevate the client experience.
- Adapt to evolving project and client needs while maintaining service excellence.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior architecture from a CIDA-accredited program.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract design, furniture dealership, or construction.
- Expertise in specifying and planning systems furniture and ancillary pieces.
- Strong understanding of workplace strategy, ergonomics, technology integration, and facility planning.
- Knowledge of building codes, ADA regulations, electrical codes, and construction methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-volume projects with creativity and precision.
Technical Skills:
- CET, CAP Studio or Project Matrix, and AutoCAD.
- Strong graphic layout skills and ability to produce high-quality visual presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Corporate Account Manager (Chicago)
Corporate Account Manager – Office Revolution (Chicago)
The Corporate Account Manager (CAM) at Office Revolution is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships within the commercial interior design market. This position entails managing the sales process from project identification to completion, ensuring client satisfaction through tailored interior solutions. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, working within an Accountable Team to drive client growth, retention, loyalty, and profitability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including architects, designers, contractors, and client contacts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and providing ongoing support.
- Understand client needs and project requirements to propose appropriate design solutions and product selections.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships for ongoing business development.
Sales & Business Development:
- Generate new leads and drive business growth through successful client experience and referrals.
- Conduct site visits to assess project needs, present design concepts, and align solutions with client goals.
- Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and pricing plans, including project timelines and deliverables.
- Negotiate contracts and manage expectations to achieve growth and profitability targets.
Project Management:
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution, meeting client needs and timelines.
- Monitor project progress, address challenges, provide solutions, and communicate timelines with clients.
- Manage project budgets to ensure financial objectives are met and maintained.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure client satisfaction.
Market Knowledge & Expertise:
- Stay informed on industry trends, design innovations, and competitor activity within the commercial interior design market.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Office Revolution’s portfolio and service offerings to better serve clients.
- Use market insights to identify new opportunities and tailor solutions that align with client goals.
- Provide strategic guidance and expertise to internal teams and clients regarding design and product offerings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the contract furniture industry, including project management experience.
- Prior experience as a Designer at a dealership is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and execute large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook 365, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Experience with electronic specification programs such as CAP 2020 or Project Matrix CAD.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or CET is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management principles, financial tracking, and budgeting tools.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and account management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to address client concerns effectively.

Director of Healthcare (Chicago)
Director of Healthcare – Office Revolution (Chicago)
The Director of Healthcare Sales will drive the growth of our Healthcare vertical by identifying, engaging, and building relationships with key stakeholders in prospective client companies. As an ambassador for Office Revolution’s Healthcare division, this individual will focus on lead generation, business development, and sales growth while promoting high-quality furniture solutions that improve patient and provider environments. This role involves collaborating across internal verticals to cross-sell products and ensure holistic client solutions.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new opportunities in the healthcare sector, building a strong pipeline of leads.
- Conduct outreach to prospective clients, uncovering needs and generating new sales opportunities.
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, designers, architects, general contractors, and developers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored, cost-effective solutions for clients.
- Lead showroom tours and deliver impactful presentations using sales tools such as case studies and project highlights.
Market Expansion:
- Actively engage in healthcare community events and industry gatherings to expand market presence.
- Enhance brand visibility through strategic networking and marketing initiatives.
Cross-Selling & Collaboration:
- Work with other verticals to identify cross-selling opportunities for new and existing accounts.
- Provide the Director of Sales with market insights, performance reports, and recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience & Knowledge:
- Proven sales experience in the healthcare sector, with a strong understanding of healthcare environments and provider needs.
- Established relationships in the healthcare market are preferred.
- Experience with contract furniture sales or similar within healthcare settings.
