Director of Project Management
Director of Project Management – Office Revolution
The Director of Project Management at Office Revolution drives the strategic direction and growth of the Project Management Department within the Professional Services division. This leadership role is critical in developing a scalable and repeatable project management framework that will support our continued expansion into new markets.
In addition to guiding the strategic vision, this role emphasizes the empowerment and development of the Project Management team. The Director will foster a high-performance culture, prioritizing mentorship, and professional growth to enhance the capabilities and engagement of all team members. Building a robust pipeline of talent, this role oversees ongoing development and training initiatives to ensure the Project Management function is positioned for long-term success.
As a key business partner, the Director collaborates across departments to align the Project Management function with company-wide objectives, ensuring the effective deployment of resources to maximize efficiency and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive team development through structured mentorship, training, and performance management frameworks.
- Ensure that all project managers consistently deliver excellent customer service, maintaining high standards in client communication, responsiveness, and project execution to foster strong client relationships and trust.
- Review, establish and implement repeatable project management processes that support rapid scaling and multi-location expansion.
- Lead strategic initiatives for continuous improvement in project execution and client service delivery.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on resource planning, talent acquisition, and deployment strategies.
- Use data analysis to monitor departmental performance, forecast needs, and adjust operational plans proactively.
- Monitor errors through zero sell report, define actions and training required for corrective action.
Qualifications for Director of Project Management
- 7+ years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Demonstrated success in building, leading, and mentoring high-performing project management teams, with a focus on professional development and fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Strong knowledge of project management best practices, with experience overseeing budget management, resource planning, and metrics-driven performance evaluation.
- Skilled in partnering with senior leadership, sales, and operations teams to align project management initiatives with organizational objectives.
- A track record of ensuring high-quality client service and satisfaction through continuous improvement in project delivery.
- Experience implementing change and process improvements, with the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, Operations, or a related field; PMP or relevant project management certification preferred.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools, with the ability to evaluate and implement technology solutions that enhance team efficiency.
Senior Proposal Strategist
Senior Proposal Strategist – Office Revolution
Position Overview: The Senior Proposal Strategist leads the development and submission of client-specific creative proposals, manages client-facing templates, and provides mentorship to junior team members in the Strategic Team. This role involves full ownership of research, analysis, and submission processes to ensure all materials adhere to brand guidelines and remain accurate and current. Additionally, this strategist will support a range of strategic and company-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the RFP process, focusing on high-volume and high-visibility pursuits, and ensure a refined, impactful approach.
- Conduct research to enhance competitiveness in the RFP and client interview process.
- Research new technologies, including AI.
- Collaborate with Principals, Business Development, and the Director of Strategic Design on significant projects, overseeing branding and creative direction to showcase our strengths during the RFP process.
- Develop targeted collateral for clients and explore new vertical markets.
- Conduct end-user research to inform strategy and tailor content to specific segments, and to augment Business Development efforts.
- Create and manage content assets for RFP and BD/Sales presentations.
- Attend showroom tours and other events as needed to gather insights for messaging and strategic planning.
- Support additional marketing initiatives as needed.
Position can be located at any of our current Office Revolution locations. Chicago, IL, Columbus, OH, Cleveland, OH, or Kansas City, MO.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design, marketing, sales, or a related field.
- Knowledge of the commercial furniture industry is preferred.
- Strong business acumen to uphold brand standards for clients.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Canva.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong editing and proofreading abilities.
- Ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively.
- Highly organized and responsive to client needs and deadlines.
- Adaptable to changing priorities and capable of quickly re-prioritizing projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and within a team.
