Sterling Bay came to us to support furnishing a variety of amenity spaces for a new office building in Chicago’s Loop neighborhood. This building offers a robust tenant amenity package redefining what it means to work in the Loop. The spaces were all unique ranging from common hang-outs to areas that would be utilized as cafes.
What made this project extra special was the variety of furniture needed. The lower level of this space included a recreation room complete with a bowling alley, pool tables, and shuffleboards. We came across a unique situation with this project, as it was delayed by a year. Because we had already confirmed orders for the project before knowing about the delay, we had to place the furniture in storage during this time before installation could begin. Having a large warehouse in Chicago and established relationships with our vendors made this situation a lot easier, as we love thinking outside the box and taking on unique jobs.
